David, born and raised in the western states of USA, has been taking photos of anything outdoors that would move (or, didn’t move) since the days of the “Brownie” camera. Having used “4x5” and “5x7” format cameras in high school photography, he found the 35mm both realistic and somewhat affordable. With film being a valuable luxury, he remembered what his photography instructor meant when he said “Always take the best picture you possibly can”. That philosophy is still used today with digital equipment. The best picture means less editing in the dark room or at the computer.
“The camera gets me outdoors. I usually end up where the lens leads me.”
