Hi friend here,
I am a new contributor in DT and want to be a valuable contributor. I join one month before and enjoy uploading/being refused photo I shot/made myself. Now I got more than 30 photos here. It is not a big number I know as so many people here has much more photos here. But I got really a mount of views for some photos here.
But I got confused that why there is no single download for the most viewed photos here, although actually some of those picture I put in other microstock site and have already got some downloads. The number of views here is much greater than others but no download at all, with the same picture.
Just not a complaint but just wonder if there is a way to improve my selling here or did I do something wrong? I like DT much better actually because here I can find the most friendly website design and significant knowledge about shooting.
Can anyone help me to review my profile and give me some advise here?
Of course I will keep uploading and trying, I know the number of uploaded photo is important.:) |

The web crawlers of the search engines (google, yahoo, bing, etc...) tag a view to your images, so views is kind of an useless indicator, sorry.
It only indicates the crawlers got your images, which is a good thing, if you google them you will probably find them now as all the possible buyers. |

Thx guys for your advices.
I am not complaint about why I can get downloads although I have good picture, no,no, that's not what I mean. I just want to know is there any technical reason (like wrong way upload pictures, or failure with keyword, or just the subject of photos are not correct ) maybe prevent customer to select and download the picture. some of them really have a good sell in other place.
But I know waiting and keeping upload is what I can and what I should do now~:) |
