For me a dreamjune at dreamstime. Two month decline stopped, June=BME, biggest increase (compared to may) of all my sites. Now I´m hoping for a dreamjuly....(and a dreamaugust and a dreamseptember and......)

I have not had a sale in 7 days. I have been averaging a sale about every two days which is not too bad for only having 99 photos online. I am hoping the slowdown is due to the onset of summer and the upcoming holiday.

I read somewhere that at some point, pictures that have been online for one year with no sales will be removed. Do you think that this will increase sales since it will be easier for designers to find the quality photos they are looking for? I feel like it may encourage designers to visit DT over other stock sites if some of the poorer photos are weeded out. I have some in my portfolio that won't be missed if DT decides to do this.

I think that is a policy all microstock sites should strongly consider. And this is coming from someone with a small portfolio who will probably have a number of 0 sale pictures at the end of the year.

In the case of a strong picture which somehow fell through the cracks, you can simply resubmit it. At the very least - yes - it would make it easier to find quality pictures in the search function. And it would weed out a lot of photographers which joined, gave up, and became inactive.

I have a lot to learn, but I am in it for the long haul. This is too much fun to stop doing! :)

For me, June was the best month here. With a very small portfolio I am soo happy about it. :) And now waiting for my first payment also :D

I do not think that currently dreamstime are deleting photos that did not sell, they let you be the judge of that... Maybe later on, when the database will increase more... But not long ago they started the free section, where designers can download photos for free... If you feel that an image is not representative for your portfolio, you can try submitting it for this section instead of deactivating or deleting them. Seems like the free section gets a lot of traffic, and each image that you donate will link back to your portfolio or another images of yours, thus increasing your exposure towards the buyers... Could result in more sales, even if it will decrease the size your portfolio...
